Hello! My name is Sandra Vudrić, a licenced tourist guide based in Trogir!
I was born in Split, but spent my childhood in a small village Plano near Trogir. My childhood days were spent exploring and playing outdoors. As a very young girl I knew I loved languages. I’d sit next to my elder brother and sister and learn English before I started going to school.
While we were children, we would stroll around the narrow streets of Trogir, knowing every street and every corner, running and hiding from each other after school waiting for the bus. They were our stage. And what a beautiful stage it was!
I finished both elementary and high school in Trogir and the period of high school was the time when I decided I wanted to study languages. English was my first choice and Italian was logical choice number 2 as I learnt it at school. The period of high school education in the school for tourism was when I fell in love with Trogir and its culture.
Thanks to my Art teacher who had a great passion for the history of my hometown, I decided I wanted to know as much as possible about all the wonderful art and culture Trogir has to offer.
After graduating from high school I moved to Zadar to get a degree in English and Italian, but at that time my dream was to become a teacher. And I made my dream come true.
When I got my degree I came back home and got a job in a small elementary school near my hometown where I’ve been working since then. That’s also the time when I moved to Trogir.
I teach English to students from the age of 7 until the age of 14. I love passing my knowledge to others and so after a few years of working at school, I began thinking about the art and history of Trogir and how beautiful and unique it’s been.
That’s why I decided to become a tourist guide. I think that precisely because I’m a teacher, I have the inner drive to pass on my knowledge, especially about something as beautiful as Trogir!
Besides my hometown, I offer tours in Split, Salona, Šibenik and Krka National Park. Each and every one of them is a unique wonder of nature and art just waiting for people to see them. The beauty of private tours is that they offer flexibility and you can enjoy to the fullest without thinking about other people in the group.
Get in touch by email or phone, and I’ll answer as soon as possible giving you all the choices that suit your needs best.
